The "Tomato Lounge" was a cramped storage closet that doubled as an employee lounge. The space got its name from the "#10" cans of tomatoes that were stored there. It was lost to remodeling and replaced with a slightly larger version (minus the tomatoes) but the name endured. So now the Tomato Lounge is still not a place to lounge and it has never stored tomatoes (ironically, until the 1997 remodeling it was right about where the new ladies room is) , but the name remains the same. So, to further the growing contradiction, this page on our site will be a link to photos, stories, poems or anything that relates to our customers or employees (past or present).
